La Rosa Meilland Rampicante Baronne Rothschild è una pianta perenne da esterno ed appartenente alla famiglia delle Rosaceae. E’ una pianta rampicante a foglia caduca che necessita di supporto per arrampicarsi e che può superare i 2 metri di altezza, presentando foglie lanceolate di colore verde scuro con i bordi seghettati. Fiorisce dalla fine della primavera sino all’estate producendo fiori di generose dimensioni di colore rosa scuro tendente al fucsia. Non temendo il freddo e per la rigogliosa fioritura si presta bene alla decorazione di recinzioni, muri o archi ideale da piantumare sia in contenitore che in piena terra; necessita di esposizione in pieno sole con buona adattabilità in zone di ombra parziale. Il terreno ideale deve essere fertile e dotato di buon drenaggio, mentre non ha bisogno di frequenti irrigazioni da effettuare sempre a substrato completamente asciutto ed evitando la formazione di ristagni idrici.
