Called: 'Machinist's Plum'.
Still one of the best European plums. It has an upward growth habit and medium-high vigour with regular and constant productivity. It has very good-looking, large-sized fruits with purple skin and yellow pulp. Excellent for fresh consumption, preserves, syrups, spirits, jams, drying. Good shelf life, medium resistance to adversity, suitable for different environments (plain, hills).

Carriage: expansive.
Productivity: high.
Flowering: early, beginning of April.
Fruit: large, average weight 78 gr. elongated, elipsoidal shape. The skin is dark purple, pruinose, yellowish flesh, firm, delicate flavour.
Core adherence: pulp stands out.
Ripening: late, mid-September.
Pollinators: self-incompatible. Recommended Stanley, Ruth Gerstetter, Grossa di Felisio, Bluefre.
