L’ulivo Bella di Cerignola (o Bella di Spagna) è una pianta appartenente alla famiglia delle Oleaceae. Si tratta di arbusto sempreverde con portamento espanso, una chioma mediamente folta e vigore medio che presenta foglie molto resistenti, di colore verde scuro nella parte superiore e più chiaro nella parte inferiore. Fiorisce in primavera quando sbocciano piccoli fiori bianchi riuniti a grappoli. I frutti sono ovali, di generose dimensioni e di colore verde in piena maturazione e vengono utilizzati per la produzione di olive in salamoia, mentre la raccolta avviene tra Ottobre e Novembre. Pianta di facile coltivazione, non teme le basse temperature e non ha bisogno di terreno particolare mentre le innaffiature devono essere regolari soprattutto nei periodi più caldi.
