Macadamia è un genere di piante perenni a portamento arboreo, endemico dell’Australia orientale. Si compone di 4 specie delle quali due (M. tetraphylla e M. integrifolia) sono note per la produzione di frutti edibili: le Noci di Macadamia o Noci del Queensland. Oltre alla rilevanza commerciale, Macadamia è anche molto utilizzato nei climi subtropicali come albero da ombra data la compattezza della sua chioma e le dimensioni ragguardevoli che può raggiungere in età adulta nei climi nativi. Molto apprezzate anche le sue fioriture di colore bianco rosato. Si consiglia di ripararla con TNT da gelate.

The Pomegranate tree (Punica granatum) belongs to the Punicaceae family. It is a 4-5 m high, bushy, deciduous shrub.
The trunk of the pomegranate plant is very gnarled and branched with thorny branches. The bright green leaves are small, opposite and entire.
The orange-red flowers are very beautiful and showy. Flowering can take place from the beginning of June to mid-July.
