Description (expired) Beautiful, young, dense and lush hedge plants, several branches per plant, fairly dense plants This plant is one of the most popular evergreen plants for making a brilliant and fragrant hedge. It is mainly used for hedging, screening and protecting gardens. In fine weather the plant also produces small white flowers that can have a discreet ornamental effect. Advice: Plants should be planted about 60 to 70 centimetres apart if you want to cover them quickly, they do not require excessive watering and can reach up to 8 metres in height if not pruned. Flowering: Usually occurs from April/May to September/October on plants at least two years old. They produce star-shaped, waxy flowers about 1 cm in diameter with 5 petals.
They form umbrella-shaped clusters of 15-20 long-lasting small flowers (they can last all summer). They vary in colour from pink to yellow and are often very fragrant and rich in nectar.

The plant of Alocasia (Elephant Ears) is an evergreen house plant native to tropical areas. It possesses beautiful large, oval, wing-shaped leaves that can be up to 90 cm long, which when shaken by the wind resemble elephant ears, shiny light green in colour, with wavy margins. Fairly fast-growing plant, easy to keep in the house or on the veranda than the banana tree or other tropical plants, the important thing is that the temperature is above 8 degrees in winter and that it is away from cold and dry heat sources.
