Pianta di circa due anni; altezza circa 60 cm. Adatto per trapianti in piena terra o in vaso. LE MISURE POSSONO VARIARE AL MOMENTO DELLA POTATURA. Caratteristiche botaniche: deve il suo nome alla forma allungata del frutto e alla sua diffusione nella costiera amalfitana. Pianta di medio vigore, non molto spinosa e poco rifiorente, ha foglie di color verde pallido, allungate e leggermente arrotondate all’apice. I fiori sono di color violaceo, disposti principalmente a gruppi e singoli. In presenza di periodi molto freddi (sotto ai -4 gradi) si consiglia di riparare la pianta con teli in nylon e di fasciare il tronco con tessuto non tessuto. Questa cultivar risulta essere piuttosto sensibile agli attacchi degli acari. Usi del Limone 4 stagioni lunario: viene utilizzato servito in insalata oppure come condimento per pesce, antipasti di mare e sulle carni. È adoperato anche per produrre il limoncello e come ingrediente di torte e dolciumi al limone.
