The Lemox o limone senza semi ha una forma ellittica, una buccia e una polpa di colore giallo ed è privo di semi. Matura molto precocemente rispetto ad altri agrumi e la raccolta inizia a fine settembre. Il limone senza semi è un agrume ibrido che nasce dall’incrocio tra il lemon Femminello Siracusano IGP, limone Pera del commendatore e limone doppio di Lentini. Il limone ha una lunga maturazione: da ottobre a marzo limone giallo, da marzo a maggio limone bianchetto, da agosto a settembre limone verdello.

The Pomegranate tree (Punica granatum) belongs to the Punicaceae family. It is a 4-5 m high, bushy, deciduous shrub.
The trunk of the pomegranate plant is very gnarled and branched with thorny branches. The bright green leaves are small, opposite and entire.
The orange-red flowers are very beautiful and showy. Flowering can take place from the beginning of June to mid-July.
The round fruit of the pomegranate is a fleshy berry (balausta) with a thick skin and containing fleshy, prism-shaped grains (arils) with a pulpy head and woody integument, which are very juicy and taste sweet or sour depending on the variety.
