The Limone Lunario is also highly sought after as an ornamental plant as it is able to display abundant flowers almost every month, even in winter. In fact, if cultivated well and kept out of the cold, it repays sight and smell with beautiful white flowers and the intense scent of its lemons.

The Lunar Lemon plant has elliptical leaves with a pointed, deep green apex; the flowers are purplish on the outside: when they open, they are deep white or slightly mottled.

The shape of the fruit is elongated with a deep yellow skin. The same plant can produce fruit of different sizes, depending on the fruit-bearing season. The fruit can also be harvested when green, as it will continue to ripen afterwards.
