Pianta che in natura arriva a 10 metri, ma può vivere in vaso, sia in casa che all’esterno, a riparo da gelate, resistente a siccità e poca luce, predilige posti umidi, ma si ambienta ovunque, colore della foglia molto caratteristico, sopporta bene le potature, da non effettuarsi in inverno.
