Il Fico Gommone Bianco matura nel mese di Giugno: è di forma sferica ed allungata verso l’estremità superiore, di grandi dimensioni con buccia di color verde pallido, mentre la polpa è carnosa e soda, di colore ambra tendente al rosa e dal sapore molto dolce da consumare fresco. E’ un arbusto rustico resistente alle basse temperature, anche se le gelate primaverili potrebbero danneggiare i riami ed anche il fusto; predilige posizionamento in luoghi soleggiati, ma tollera l’esposizione in zone di ombra parziale. Si consiglia un terreno universale di buona qualità e ben drenato con irrigazioni poco frequenti dato che sopporta brevi periodi di siccità.
Maturazione: Terza decade di Giugno.
