The Ligustrum japonicum plant is a shrub with semi-persistent, glossy green leaves. Compact habit. It produces white flowers in large panicles that bloom in late summer. Can reach 2 metres in height. Cultivated for its glossy foliage and fragrant white blossom, it is ideal for hedges, screens or as a solitary specimen, excellent drought resistance (the first year it should be watered), cold and pathogens
