Il Cipresso “Toscano” si distingue per il suo caratteristico colore verde scuro e per il portamento eretto, colonnare e stretto, che lo rende una scelta ideale per la creazione di viali alberati o per delineare con eleganza il perimetro di abitazioni e terreni. Per molti anni tollera bene anche la coltivazione in vaso. La sua base compatta e densa è arricchita da un robusto apparato radicale fittonante, che lo rende particolarmente adatto per ambienti urbani e strade affollate, senza il rischio di sviluppare radici superficiali. Con un’impressionante altezza che può raggiungere i 18-22 metri e una larghezza di circa 2,5-3 metri, questo cipresso si adatta con versatilità a una vasta gamma di terreni, mostrando una notevole resistenza alla salsedine e al clima marino, specialmente se protetto da un adeguato schermo. La sua capacità di tollerare ambienti inquinati e ricchi di smog lo rende un’ottima scelta per migliorare la qualità dell’aria e fungere da barriera naturale.
