Tecoma capensis, conosciuta anche come Bignonia rossa o Cape Honeysuckle, è una pianta rampicante sempreverde originaria del Sud Africa, apprezzata per la sua crescita vigorosa e per la spettacolare fioritura. I suoi fiori tubulari di un intenso arancione-rosso attirano farfalle e uccelli, mentre il fogliame verde lucido fornisce un contrasto elegante con i colori vivaci dei fiori. Perfetta per creare spazi verdi rigogliosi, pergolati, recinzioni e muri decorati con un tocco esotico, è ideale anche per la coltivazione in vaso.
Caratteristiche principali:
Altezza e portamento: Raggiunge un’altezza di 3-4 metri, con un portamento rampicante e cespuglioso che si adatta facilmente a supporti verticali.
